Seven wins the night, led by Today Tonight
Seven won last night’s prime time battle, with Today Tonight the top-rating show with an audience of nearly 1.5m.
The network grabbed the top four slots, with Today Tonight followed by Seven News, a credible performance for Australia’s Got Talent and then Criminal Minds.
Meanwhile Ten will be happy enough with the performance of House, which came in fifth with a 1.2m audience, but also performed well in the 16-39 demographic, grabbing 55% of the commercial metro audience.
Nine’s only top ten show was Nine News, which came in seventh. Nine’s feel-good Domestic Blitz struggled in at 11th, with an audience of just 971,000.
Meanwhile, the ABC’s Spicks and Specks, presented by Adam Hills, stayed the right side of a million.
Seven won the night with 29.2%, followed by Ten with 25.2% and Nine on 24.2%. The ABC rated a 15.7% share and SBS 5.7%.
