Seven wins the week with competitive MKR and Married at First Sight battle

Seven has won the third week of the officIal ratings period with an overall prime time commercial channel share of 39.6% – with the help of reality cooking show My Kitchen Rules.

Nine managed an overall prime time commercial channel share of 36.9% in front of Ten’s 23.5%.

The competition heated up between Nine’s rival reality TV show Married at First Sight as it beat My Kitchen Rules for top spot on the ratings ladder twice last week, according to OzTAM’s overnight metro data collated by Nine.

In overall channel share full day Seven also won the week with 38% only just ahead of Nine’s 37.6% and Ten’s 24.5%.

Although beaten in total people, Nine’s Married at First Sight held the top three positions in key advertising demographics 25-54, 16-39 and grocery buyers.

The tables, sourced from OzTAM data and prepared by Nine Network include only main commercial networks, not ABC and SBS.
