Seven’s My Kitchen Rules is gaining ground on Nine’s Monday night leader Two and a Half Men.
Two and a Half Men was the second-most watched show with 1.424 million viewers, behind Seven News with 1.495 million, according to overnight preliminary OzTam data in the five main metropolitan markets.
But following closely behind was Seven’s new cooking show MKR, launched to rival Ten’s MasterChef. It attracted 1.408 million viewers, which was ahead of the 1.2 million it had the previous Monday, when Two and a Half Men led the ratings race with 1.4 million viewers. However, the week prior to that, MKR led the night with 1.471 million, ahead of Two and a Half Men with 1.326 million.
Last night, MKR was also the most watched-show among 16-39s and 24-54 year old viewers.
