Seven’s whodunnit: Where did City Homicide’s audience go?

Strong performances from Ten and the ABC impacted on Nine and Seven last night with Hey Hey it’s Saturday pulling in an average audience of 851,000 and the return of City Homicide attracting 936,000.

Among Wednesday’s winners were Masterchef, on Ten, which attracted an average of nearly 2.2m metro viewers, and The Gruen Transfer which had one of its best results in any series, attracting just over 1.3m.

Hey Hey It’s Saturday, which will take a break after next week, pulled in 851,000, according to preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.
