Sharon Fitter leaves ACM

Sharon Fitter, chief revenue officer at ACM, has stepped down and left the business, with recruitment to replace her set to begin soon.

The announcement:

ACM today announced that Sharon Fitter, chief revenue officer, has decided to leave the business to seek the next role in her career outside of media.

Sharon joined the then Fairfax Media as a consultant to the commercial team before joining full time in 2018 as the head of enterprise sales. In 2021, Sharon was promoted to her current position as CRO and has brought an outstanding level of dedication and passion to the role.

Tony Kendall, MD said: “It has been a pleasure working alongside Sharon for the last few years, her enthusiasm and drive for getting the best out of the team during the many challenges we have faced has been a standout. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sharon and wish her all the best in her next career move.”

Sharon said: “I leave feeling proud of the way I have led commercial, local and national over the past 5 years in particular over the past 3 years during and post Covid and through the obvious economic challenges. I have always kept people and customers top of mind and the commercial senior leadership team are self reliant and resilient to assist with the future of ACM.”

ACM will begin recruitment for this important role with announcements made in due course.
