Sheridan Wadelton returns to GPY&R Melbourne as head of broadcast and content
Sheridan Wadelton, GPY&R Melbourne’s former senior TV producer, has returned to the agency as head of broadcast and content.
Wadelton worked with the Melbourne-based agency from 2007 to 2014, across brands including Defence Force Recruiting, Medibank, AGL, AFL and Schweppes.
Since she left the agency, Wadelton has worked across several companies, including Shabbadu, NB content and Stack on Films.
More recently she managed Nice Bike, a production company in Melbourne.
Commenting on her appointment, Wadelton said she was excited to head up the production department.
“Knowing that the agency has a real focus on creative quality, which is balanced with a brilliant, inclusive culture, made the decision a no-brainer. In a way, it feels like I’m returning home.”
Julian Bell, managing partner of GPY&R Melbourne said Wadelton excels at producing “indefinable ideas” across “multiple production disciplines and solutions”.
“Her experience on both sides of the production fence means she can move quickly, collaborates well, solves and shares. Add to that her experience in content delivery and you can see why we’re so thrilled to have her back,” said Bell.
