Shine boss, Hollywood hand and Gruen co-creator among Mumbrella360 lineup

m360With Mumbrella360 now just a week away, we can today announce new details for the program, including the boss of Australia’s biggest television production house, seven marketing technology firms, the head of Australia’s most commonly used companion app, a Hollywood veteran and the producer of The Gruen Transfer.

The four sessions we can now confirm full details of examine technology solutions to marketing problems; offer the audience to challenge a team of strategists; explore the future of TV storytelling; and ask whether today’s agencies are fit to deliver what modern clients need. The sessions:

One brief and seven technologies:

Naked Communications founder Adam Ferrier moderates a session featuring a real brief from Unilever media director Michelle Katz with seven technology companies given five minutes each to pitch a solution to a marketing problem.

One of the most popular sessions from Mumbrella360 last year returns, with five strategists with nowhere to hide on stage, fielding marketing problems from the audience and solving them against the clock.

As viewing habits change, we discuss how audiences are really behaving, and attempt to go beyond second screen hype to how that actually changes behaviours.

The panel includes former Fox Broadcasting programmer John Heinsen who is vice chairman of the new media council of the Producers Guild of America; Mark Fennessy, CEO of Shine, the company behind The Voice, Biggest Loser and MasterChef among others; and Craig Page, CEO of Zeebox Australia, the companion app partered with Ten, Foxtel and ABC.

The session will be moderated by Sky News presenter and 2UE host Paul Murray.

The Agency of Now

In a session moderated by The Gruen Transfer’s producer Jon Casimir, agency executives and a marketer examine current agency structures and whether they work in delivering what today’s clients actually need.
