Shop till you drop! Mumbrella Retail Marketing Summit officially returns in 2025

After setting the retail marketing landscape ablaze with forward-thinking insights and passionate discussions in 2024, Mumbrella’s Retail Marketing Summit will return in 2025 with two significant brands and speakers confirmed for the program.

Joanna Robinson, the chief marketing officer of online fashion retailer, THE ICONIC, and Jade Lish, head of marketing at plant-based meat provider, v2food, are booked to take to the summit stage in two knowledge-rich sessions.

Robinson is gearing to deliver ‘The ICONIC Rebirth: How to Build An Enduring Brand’ – an acknowledgement of how the current times are placing mountains of pressure onto marketers, and how The ICONIC managed to break the ecom status quo to take advantage of solutions that built the brand and continue to pay dividends.

In other words, it’s an unfiltered look at how a prolific brand successfully rebranded.

Delegates can expect to leave Robinson’s talk with insights on how to translate external and internal emotion into success; locating and analysing important brand metrics; how brands can’t afford to be defined by their products, and successfully leveraging cross functional relationships.

Meanwhile, Lish will unpack how purpose-founded businesses can achieve a steady balance between their ethos and consumer-based marketing objectives.

‘Why Purpose Marketing Shouldn’t be the 5th P’ will be an eye-opening case study on how v2food – and, by extension, delegates’ companies – can juggle organisational missions with business goals and how the two groups influence marketing operations and decisions.

Specifically, delegates can expect to learn how to use the 4 Ps to empower their brand and bolster its sustainability efforts; why business decisions driven by profit and those driven by purpose need to be balanced, and how v2 used consumer-based insights to develop its Update Your Plate messaging into a multi-faceted communication platform that conveys more than just sustainability.

Mumbrella’s Retail Marketing Summit 2025 will take place on March 19, 2025 at the Crown Sydney.

Tickets to the retail marketing event of the year are available now.

Last year’s summit delivered the goods for retail marketers eager to shake up the game with insights from industry leaders and their peers.

TRIBE founder Jules Lund revealed that employee creator programs are the must-use solution for developing a powerful brand story in the online sphere. Meanwhile, leaders at IPG Mediabrands, Brown Foreman, Coca-Cola and Uber explained why retail brands need to target Gen Z – and plenty more pearls of wisdom were dropped.

More sessions and insights on how retail marketers can elevate their game and that of their brands’ will be announced in the future.
