Signature Media merges Five Star Kids with Holidays with Kids

Signature Media has merged its title Five Star Kids with Holidays with Kids, both online and in print.

Five Star Kids will become The Luxe Edit which will be a dedicated section of Holidays with Kids, covering luxury and high-end family travel.

The section will also include the winners of the annual Little Luxie Family Travel awards for the best international luxury family-friendly accommodation.

The merge forms part of the publisher’s strategy for 2020, with group editor and CEO of Signature Media, Cathy Wagstaff, saying the inclusion of the content will inspire Holidays with Kids readers.

“Luxury travel is no longer the domain of the well-heeled. Many families save and plan to have high-end travel experiences and this extra content will inspire our Holidays with Kids readers with ideas for that trip of a lifetime,” said Wagstaff.

“This combination will deliver a full range of holiday options and reach a greater audience.”

The new section will launch in the June to September issue of holidays with Kids.

Holidayswithkids.com.au relaunched in August 2019 and saw the consolidation of fivestarkidsmagazine.com.au – as well as caravanandcampingwithkids.com.au and skiandsnowboardwithkids.com.au – into a single platform based on keyword and user experience research conducted in partnership with digital marketing agency, Indago.

The Luxe Edit will be accessible on the Holidays with Kids website under The Luxe Edit homepage. The content will also continue to be shared with newsletter subscribers and across Holidays with Kids’ growing suite of social platforms.

Current subscribers of the Five Star Kids print magazine are eligible to transfer their remaining subscription copies to any of Signature Media’s other titles.
