Singapore Airlines appoints Liquid Ideas to handle Australian PR

Liquid Ideas has been appointed as the Australian public relations and communications agency for Singapore Airlines following a four-way competitive pitch.

The agency will begin work with the airline from Saturday, taking over from Weber Shandwick.

Liquid Ideas will be responsible for the publicity and promotion of the Singapore Airlines brand, supporting corporate communications and managing events and activations. The account does not include the carrier’s budget airline Tiger Airways.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be working with what we think is quite simply the world’s greatest airline brand,” said Stuart Gregor, Liquid Ideas founder and director.

The win follows the appointment of Liquid Ideas to handle publicity and media relations for the new SCG-based Sydney Sixers Twenty20 cricket team. The agency has also recently picked up Kellogg’s, Toby’s Estate, De’Longhi and Stella Artois.
