SiteMinder launches full rebrand

Siteminder has launched a rebrand.

The announcement:

SiteMinder, the world’s leading open hotel commerce platform, has today unveiled a total rebrand to open the door to what it has identified as the online hotel commerce era.

SiteMinder services more than 32,000 hotels across 150 countries, with more than 1350 partners, to generate in excess of 100 million reservations worth US$35 billion in revenue for hotels during a regular year. It has people in 20 countries globally, with the platform and support available in eight languages.

The SiteMinder platform helps hotels to sell, market, manage and grow their business from one place.

Led by SiteMinder’s in-house creative and marketing team, the rebrand reflects the updated needs of SiteMinder’s customers, the expectations set of them, and SiteMinder’s need to evolve accordingly.

The rebrand encompasses a new logo, tagline, typeface, colour palette, to be reflected across all SiteMinder assets, including a new website design and software redesign.

Chief Marketing Officer Mark Renshaw says the rebrand was prompted by reflecting on the always-on nature of being a hotelier today, and SiteMinder’s renewed promise to support hoteliers to find success for their business using SiteMinder’s platform.

“The landscape for hotels has altered significantly over the past 18 months and so it was apt that we revisited what we stood for as a company and how we could continue to make a difference to the lives of our customers. We began by renewing our company purpose to open up every hotel to online commerce – an era that we identified all hotels now find themselves, even if they don’t know it yet,” Renshaw says.

“Our new logo, which we call the ‘door to more’, invokes an image of entering a hotel lobby and also represents our own invitation to every hotel to open up their world of opportunity.”

SiteMinder’s new tagline, ‘Hotel software that means business without boundaries,’ leans into SiteMinder’s renewed focus on being a partner to hotel businesses in the new online hotel commerce era that knows no limits, and leaves no room for compromise.
