Heads Up with Chris Kenny

Premieres Monday 30 January at 11:00pm AEDT on SKY NEWS LIVE

SKY NEWS will bolster its late night programming line-up in 2017 with a new locally produced national affairs program featuring leading anchor, journalist and political commentator Chris Kenny.

Heads Up with Chris Kenny will air each Monday to Thursday at 11:00pm AEDT on SKY NEWS LIVE (Channel 601) giving viewers the inside scoop on the stories making tomorrow’s headlines.

Chris and his expert team of panellists will preview the nation’s newspapers before they hit the stands, informing you on exactly what will make news the next day.

Chris will also offer his opinions and insights into where events will lead and present discussion and commentary on the issues driving public debate, crossing live to newsmakers around the country and across the globe.

Heads Up with Chris Kenny will be a must-watch for news junkies and mandatory viewing for newsmakers and politicians seeking a heads up on their challenges for the coming day.

Chris Kenny said: “No one needs to go to bed wondering what the new day will bring – we can give you most of tomorrow’s news tonight. News, opinion, insight and crucially, a heads up on where events are heading; that will be my mission.

I’m thrilled some of my great mates and favourite contributors will join me regularly with Rita Panahi, Miranda Devine, Tim Blair, Bill Leak and Jane Marwick, just some of the sharp minds helping me keep viewers informed. You won’t want to miss it – inside running, strong views and a few laughs along the way.”
