Snooze appoints Sarah Baxter to marketing role

Luxury bedroom brand Snooze has appointed Sarah Baxter to become its national marketing and brand manager.

The announcement:

Snooze appoints National Marketing and Brand Manager

Sarah will join the Snooze team on 27 April 2010, tasked with the job of leading Snoozes expansion of its already impressive franchise network. Sarah was a stand-out candidate for the role and we are delighted to welcome her to the team, said Managing Director Simon Beaty.

Sarah has extensive experience as Head of Marketing having lead marketing teams for various companies across retail, FMCG and financial services sectors in the UK and Australia. Through her two years with 7-Eleven Stores Australia, Sarah also gained valuable experience within the franchise environment.

Focused solely on marketing and brand management, Sarah s appointment is imperative as part of Snoozes goal to increase market share within its existing network and expand into new territory. Snooze has been undergoing a restructure for some time to create a solid foundation for future growth.

In addition to Sarahs appointment, weve also created the new role of Franchise Network Development Manager dedicated to finding viable sites and selecting franchisees to join the Snooze team, Simon said. Snooze has a plan to become a 100-store network in the next three years and with the granting of three new franchises in recent months  and increased interest in franchising opportunities, we are right on track, Simon said.

Snooze is one of the oldest franchise networks in Australia, having opened its doors in 1974 and has been a pioneer for new standards of service, expertise and range.

Snooze currently has some 70 stores in its network spanning New South Wales, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, South Australia and Western Australia and is a leading player in the bedding field stocking exclusive products, new technologies and innovative designs.
