Sony Mobile Australia appoint Peter McKeon as new managing director for Oceania
Sony Mobile Communications Australia has appointed Peter McKeon as managing director of Sony Mobile Communications Oceania.

Sony Mobile Communications Australia today announced the appointment of Peter McKeon as the new Managing Director of Sony Mobile Communications Oceania. McKeon replaces John Featherstone who is moving to a role as Vice President for South East Asia and Oceania at Sony Mobile Communications, based in Singapore.
As Managing Director, McKeon takes on the role of driving Sony Mobile’s brand profile and market share in the fast-moving and competitive Australian mobile category.

The evolution of mobile technology is at the heart of every major electronics brand and at Sony Mobile I believe we are uniquely positioned to bring the expertise of the wider Sony business to deliver standout, premium products to an extremely tech- savvy Australian audience with high expectations of our brand,” said Peter McKeon.
McKeon joins Sony Mobile from ZTE where he was CEO of the ANZ region. He has previously worked for leading organisations in senior management roles including Citizen Watches and Telstra.
