Southern Cross Austereo to take over agency sales for 2CH
Southern Cross Austereo has been appointed as the agency sales representative for 2CH, including DAB+, from April 12. The role previously sat with Macquarie Media.
The addition of 2CH to SCA’s stable will allow the broadcaster to access a wider range of audiences across the 25-50+ demographic.
2CH is owned by Glenn Wheatley linked radio group EON Broadcasting who purchased it in 2016 when Macquarie Media was forced to sell under media ownership rules.
EON Broadcasting is 85% owned by Oceania Capital Partners, with the rest owned by Wheatley and GM John Williams.
SCA national head of radio sales Nikki Rooke said the company already represents EON Broadcasting’s Sunshine Coast stations and is thrilled to be representing 2CH in the agency market.
