Spark picks up three new pieces of business

Media agency Spark Communications has won three new clients.

The announcement:

Spark Communications is celebrating 12 years in public relations, with three wins to add to the consultancy’s growing number of consumer and lifestyle clients.

Leading bourbon brand, Woodstock; fresh pasta specialists, Latina; and Cancer Council Victoria’s Call To Arms campaign have all been taken under the wing of the agency.

Woodstock Bourbon has appointed Spark to implement a sponsorship leveraging campaign to promote the brand’s association with the Crusty Demons tour currently moving throughout Australia.

Latina’s program focuses on new product launches, while Cancer Council Victoria has joined with Spark to promote their Call To Arms program to raise awareness and funds for men’s cancers. The latter campaign utilises Socceroo Tim Cahill, Tim Mannah of the Parramatta Eels and Essendon Football Club’s Andrew Welsh as ambassadors.

“The planets have aligned for us in the past 12 months, with a good mix of media publicity and fullyintegrated marketing communications campaigns, some in partnership with Mitchell Group businesses,” said

Richard Chapman, Spark’s founder and Managing Director. “It’s provided an opportunity to grow and deliver some great campaigns utilising both traditional and new frontiers in communication practice; it’s certainly keeping things interesting.”

These new business wins come off recent campaigns handling communications for the Formula 1 QANTAS Australian Grand Prix, Independent Distiller’s Hummingbird Blonde Lager launch and Nintendo Australia.
