Speed wins communications strategy account for energy drink V

Speed has been named the communications strategy agency for energy drink V, Mumbrella can reveal.

Head of marketing, energy, Jonny Croft, said Speed has the “horsepower” V was looking for.

“We are continually striving to deliver customer-first solutions for our brands that drive tangible business growth. We believe that adding the strategic horsepower of Speed will provide great value to our existing agency team,” Croft said.

“2020 is going to be a massive year for the brand thanks to our new campaign, and we are really excited about the start we have made.”

Speed’s managing partner, Ian Perrin, added: “We have always been focused on working with clients who are keen to push the boundaries and produce innovative and smart solutions, so we couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with V.

“It is also further proof that our model of combining data analytics and channel planning is resonating with a full range of different clients.”

In November, Spark Foundry’s former chief operating officer joined Speed as a partner. The same month, it became the media agency of record for skincare brand Palmers, adding to a roster that includes Japan Airlines, QIC, Paspaley, Futura, MCoBeauty and Dry July.
