Sportsbet releases new ad featuring weightlifter who ‘knows a fair bit about performance enhancement’

Sportsbet has rolled out another spot in its Android campaign, featuring a weightlifter “who knows a fair bit about performance enhancement”.

The 30-second TVC was created by BMF is the second spot released following the brand’s controversial ‘Ben Johnson and The Endosers’ ad.

The ad features weight lifter Vladimir Cheatalotakov as he sits on a bench lifting weights while the narrator says “He’s no stranger to injecting powerful stuff in the back end”.

“In bottom,” Cheatalotakov relpies.

“Which is why he loves Sportsbet’s new juiced up Andriod app.

“In fact he can’t stop talking about its unfair advantage,” the narrator continues.

Sportsbet has also released another social campaign promoting tonight’s State of Origin game between the New South Wales Blues and Queensland’s Maroons.

The three-minute video was done in-house and stars Australian television presenter and commentator Paul Vautin.

‘State of Origin – Border Security’ parodies an episode of Border Security where fans are “trying to infiltrate rival territories”.

An Australian car driver gets pulled over and fined for having three Origin fans locked in his boot, while Vautin gets locked up for making no sense saying “This is a g-up”.
