Spotify makes two new appointments to its sales team

Music streaming service Spotify has made two new appointments to its sales team.

The announcement:

Spotify, the world’s leading music streaming service, has further bolstered its Australian sales division with two key hires.

Account Manager Hayley Treasure joins Spotify from Nine Entertainment Co to work across Starcom, Zenithoptimedia, Match, Carat, Mitchells, Vizeum and Mediavest agencies. With six years’ media industry experience, Hayley was recently recognised by the industry with her award for Media i NSW TV Rep of the year.

Joining her is Matt Bryant, Spotify Australia’s new Client Creative Lead who will work with brands to execute bespoke integrated creative concepts for clients. In this newly created role,  Matt will support brands and agencies in executing campaigns that utilise the Spotify API and similar platforms to deliver deeper, more engaging experiences to consumers. Matt joins Spotify from New York digital agency F Sharp where he spent the past three years working alongside Spotify in AU/NZ and throughout Asia.

Spotify’s sales team growth follows hiring of  Andrea Ingham as Spotify’s new sales director for Australia and New Zealand last September.

Spotify is enjoying a time of record growth and innovation,” says Ingham, adding: “With the introduction of Hayley and Matt we’re perfectly set to provide best-in-class levels of creative support and execution for brands looking to reach our highly engaged audience.”
