Spotify Australia and New Zealand’s top sales person, Cassie Gilbert, has left the business.
Gilbert joined the music streaming giant in 2012 as a sales manager, before climbing the ranks to group sales director in 2017, and then director of sales for Australia and New Zealand in September last year.

Gilbert had been with Spotify for seven years
She replaced Andrea Ingram in the top sales role, who had left in July and joined Buzzfeed as group partnerships lead.

In February, Spotify’s local managing director, Jane Huxley, relocated to London to take on an expanded role looking after the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
She was replaced just last month by Karen Lawson, who has held roles including as CEO of Career One and Slingshot Accelerator, in addition to time at Yahoo7.
Spotify was unable to comment further on the departure.
Gilbert has been approached for comment.
