Sputnik Sydney picks up first major win with Johnson & Johnson
Digital agency Sputnik has won its first major account since revealing for its its Sydney office, with Johnson & Johnson appointing it to work on its Splenda brand.
The agency will oversee a range of digital campaign elements, including web development, online advertising and social media. A new digital campaign is set to launch early next year.
It will work with Johnson & Johnson’s McNeil Nutritionals division on the sweetener brand, Splenda.
As Mumbrella revealed, Sputnik has appointed Amnesia’s Rodd Messent to the role of director, charging him with growing its Sydney business.
“Since appointing our new Sydney director, Rodd Messent, a couple of months ago, we’ve had a real focus on growing our Sydney operations,” said Stephen O’Farrell, managing director of Sputnik.
The agency’s existing clients include Google, Sanitarium, Luna Park, City of Sydney, the Australian Export Finance and Insurance Corporation and the NSW Department of Small Business.
Sputnik was first established in Melbourne in 1998. The agency has since expanded to Adelaide and Sydney and now employs over 80 staff.
