Starcom MediaVest promotes digital director Mayer
Starcom MediaVest Group has promoted national digital director, Yvette Mayer to the new role of chief digital officer across the media agency group’s Australian business.
The appointment sees the widening of her remit to encompass all facets of digital media.
Mayer has been with Starcom for 10 years and she has worked in roles including account management, strategic planning and digital disciplines. She also sits on the group’s global digital leadership committee.
In her new position her responsibilities include overseeing display, search, video, mobile and social media.
Mayer will also take on accountability for the growth of digital within the agency and lead the development of staff in this area.
She will report to both Starcom MediaVest Group COO Chris Nolan and the group’s global digital chief, Sean Finnegan, who yesterday made a keynote presentation at the Adtech conference held in Sydney.
Her appoinment is effective immediately.
