Starcom promotes Michael Leeds and Bob Goodge

Starcom has reorganised its management in Melbourne and Sydney following the departure of three senior staffers to launch their own agency.

As Mumbrella reported last week, general manger Lewis Hearn, client business director Joseph Pardillo, and digital director Nick Smith are leaving the network to launch Hotglue, a content agency.

MediaVest Group COO Chris Nolan said today that group business director Michael Leeds is the new GM in Melbourne.

“Michael has been an incredibly loyal employee, has developed outstanding client and team leadership skills and is widely respected by the media industry,” Nolan said.

And national investment director Bob Goodge has been appointed MD of Starcom’s Sydney office. Nolan will take on his investment responsibilities.

Group CEO John Sintras said: “Bob’s promotion recognizes the significant contribution he has made to growing the business and his strong client relationships.”

Goodge said: “I’m really excited about the new role. Our client base and our relationships are second to none and I look forward to growing this in the future.

“We are already seeing a lot of planned activity from our Sydney clients so recovery is well underway.”
