Sunday Tele launches Shop Smart

The Sunday Telegraph will unveil its new weekly shopping section in late January – focusing on shopping deals and savings available Sydney.

Australia’s leading newspaper The Sunday Telegraph has announced the expansion of its portfolio, with the launch of weekly newspaper shopping section Shop Smart. Launching on January 23, 2011, Shop Smart is aimed at families with an eye on Sydney’s’ best deals and savings.

Featuring a new and inspiring theme every week, the new section will feature an exclusive column from Australia’s queen of bargains Cath Armstrong, regular product reviews, money-saving coupons and a guide to the week’s best retail sales. Shop Smart offers readers the best value from across Sydney from an editorial team working hard to uncover the best savings the city has to offer.

The Sunday Telegraph with an audited circulation of 635,000+ copies remains the nation’s favourite newspaper, recently increasing its circulation lead over rival, The Sun-Herald, to over 206,000 copies.

Shop Smart is the latest addition to this success story, accompanying the country’s leading sports coverage, glossy magazine (Sunday Magazine) TV Guide, health and fitness section (Body+Soul), gossip and social section (Insider) and Travel section (Escape).
