Sunrise and Today tie 2-2 for the week

Another lacklustre Thursday in the ratings saw a news show win the night and Seven claim the biggest audience with 21.8% share.

The battle for the breakfast viewer continued to heat up as Today pipped Sunrise by just 3,000 viewers, according to the preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam. So far this week, Today and Sunrise have won two week-days each in the ratings.

Seven News was the most watched show with 1.122m, beating Seven’s Beauty and the Geek with 1.119m.

Ten squeezed three shows in the top 15 – Recruits: Paramedics, Rush and Keeping up with the Jones.

ABC1’s The Slap held steady with 906,000 viewers.
