Super Bowl LVII airs to 329k metro viewers as MAFS wins entertainment

Seven’s Super Bowl LVII broadcast yesterday morning aired to 329,000 metro viewers. However, it was Married At First Sight (MAFS) on Nine that took the Monday entertainment trophy.

The Nine reality show aired to 779,000 metro viewers last night, the show also topped all three key advertising demos. It was followed by Seven’s Home and Away in entertainment, with 483,000 metro viewers.

Seven’s The Chase Australia pulled in 470,000 metro viewers, while Ten’s Australian Survivor brought in 469,000 metro audience.

Back Roads on ABC attracted 432,000 metro viewers, while 425,000 tuned in to Seven’s Australian Idol.

The #1 news program on Monday was Seven News at 6:30 with 932,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News with 914,000, Nine News at 6:30 with 751,000 and Nine News with 723,000.

Nine network won the overall share with 30.8% on Monday, followed by Seven with 27.6%, Ten with 17.4% and ABC with 17%.

The top-rated primary channel was Nine with 23.7%, but the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with 4.1%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 6 February, Married at First Sight on Nine last Monday was the #1 program nationally with 1.881 million Total TV viewers, including 617,000 on BVOD and the biggest uplift of 67%.
