The announcement:
Two of Australia’s most exciting emerging brands — 78 Degrees and Barry — are joining the Repco Supercars Championship from 2025, as part of new multi-year partnerships designed to enhance the fan experience at events around the country.
Adelaide Hills-based distillery 78 Degrees has been confirmed as the official gin partner of Supercars, while Barry — the lifestyle brand created by AFL stars Bailey Smith, Charlie Curnow, Nick Daicos and Josh Daicos — comes on board as the official vodka and tequila partner for the next two seasons.
Both partnerships are focused on bringing new experiences to race weekends, with activations and collaborations that reflect the energy and creativity of Supercars and its fans.
78 Degrees, an acclaimed Australian distillery renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship, use of unique native botanicals and deep commitment to sustainable practices, will bring its distinctive approach to gin and elevated hospitality experiences to Supercars.
78 Degrees CEO Chris Pang said: “This is about more than just putting a logo on a car — it’s about working with Supercars to celebrate local innovation and craftsmanship on one of the biggest stages in Australian sport.”
Barry, which started as a passion project between four of the AFL’s biggest names, has quickly become one of the country’s fastest-growing ready-to-drink (RTD) brands. Known for its low sugar, low carb and low calorie options made with real juice and natural flavours. It has built a reputation for injecting fun, challenging the status quo and fostering a strong community of ‘loyals.’
The Supercars partnership will see Barry’s energetic and bold approach come to life across a range of trackside activations, fan moments, and collaborations with its founders.
Bailey Smith said: “Barry is about making memories with your mates, and Supercars is the perfect fit for that. We’re excited to get involved and bring something new for fans to enjoy.”
Charlie Curnow added: ” Speed, good times, and big personalities – that’s the Supercars vibe, and honestly, that’s the Barry vibe too. We’re looking forward to being part of it.”
Supercars general manager – commercial Jamie Black said: “We’re really pleased to welcome both 78 Degrees and Barry to Supercars. These are two Australian brands doing great things in their industries, and both bring a fresh, creative approach to connecting with audiences. Fans can expect to see plenty from them across race weekends over the next two seasons.
