Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras reappoints Pink Media Group as sponsorship sales agency
Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras has reappointed Pink Media Group as its sponsorship sales agency in a new three-year agreement running through to the conclusion of the 2028 Mardi Gras season.

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (SGLMG) is proud to announce the reappointment of Pink Media Group (PMG) as its sponsorship sales agency, in a new three-year agreement running through to the conclusion of the 2028 Mardi Gras season. Under the agreement, Pink Media Group will work closely with Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras’Partnerships and Marketing leads to deliver on the organisation’s sponsorship brief and build year-round, values-aligned partnerships.
This appointment marks a return for Pink Media Group, which previously worked with SGLMG from 2013 to 2018. During that period, PMG played a critical role in helping SGLMG expand its sponsorship base and deepen corporate support for LGBTQIA+ communities.
The renewed partnership comes at a pivotal moment, with the next two Mardi Gras seasons building towards the historic 50th anniversary of Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras in 2028. This milestone will celebrate five decades of pride, protest, visibility, and community – and is expected to draw unprecedented attention from audiences and brands alike.
Corporate support remains an important part of ensuring the success of Mardi Gras, helping to sustain the organisation and extend its reach to broader audiences. Partner organisations are expected to show a clear commitment to diversity and inclusion, so that their involvement aligns with the values of SGLMG and the LGBTQIA+ community it represents.
