Imagination has revealed the new branding and theme for this year’s NYE celebrations in Sydney.
Themed ‘wonder’, the new branding for the City of Sydney’s New Year’s Eve event aims to highlight Sydney’s “vibrant mood” and cultural diversity.
Collaborating with Sydney-based artist Nadia Hernández, 600 banners will be spread throughout the city from the end of November util early January 2018.
Heath Campanaro, director at Imagination, said in a statement: “Even in our seventh year it’s a creative brief we love to solve, to showcase this iconic desination to the rest of the world. The creative team’s continued enthusiasm and determination to demonstrate Australia is a global seat of innovation has once again shone through, and I’m delighted with the calibre of work for 2017.
