The appointments follow Sydney’s Circul8 winning the pitch for Tahiti Tourisme’s creative account in January.

Nouvelle Vague’s remit will include representing and promoting the Islands of Tahiti and generating awareness amongst consumers, media and trade of Tahiti as a tourism destination.

Nouvelle Vague was established in January this year by tourism specialist Caroline Brunel. Brunel was previously the marketing director at Entire Travel Group, and prior to that spent five years at GTI Tourism.

Gina Bunton, Tahiti Tourisme  chief operations officer, said: “We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome the Nouvelle Vague team to the Tahiti Tourisme family. With such a great understanding of not only French Polynesia, but also the tourism industry generally, Caroline and her team bring fresh ideas, incredible enthusiasm, and years of experience that we know will bring a new wave of excitement for The Islands of Tahiti.”
