There can be only one candidate for correction of the day, and that’s The Daily Telegraph.
The Sydney paper tells its readers: “the Daily Telegraph reported yesterday that lost or stolen sets of RailCorp keys cost $13,472.45 each. That cost was actually the total cost of replacing 97 lost and stolen sets of keys over the past four years.”
Yesterday the story was the page lead on page 8. The correction is a single paragraph at the bottom of page 9.
