Tourism Tasmania and BOFA launch $20,000 film competition

Tourism Tasmania and the Tasmanian Breath of Fresh Air (BOFA) Film Festival has announced a film competition.

The Essence of Tasmania film competition seeks filmmakers, whether Tasmanian, Australian and from abroad.

The three minute film must encapsulates Tasmania to them, or be told through the eyes of someone else.

The organisation aren’t seeking commercials or travelogues. The best films will be shared across social media to promote the state. With a $20,000 prize pool, the top four films will receive $5000.

The competition closes on Friday 13 April.
