TBWA Sydney hires PwC’s Nicky Bryson as head of strategy
TBWA Sydney has appointed PWC’s Nicky Bryson as head of strategy.
Bryson worked in PwC’s CMO Advisory for just over a year and will now report into TBWA Sydney’s chief strategy officer Matt Springate, who joined the agency in April last year.
Bryson said in a statement: “Strategy will always be part science, part intuition. Today, more than ever there is nothing more exciting or important than the imaginative leap creativity brings to building brands and solving business problems.
“I’ve always believed the right environment and combination of people is where magic happens. The minute I met Matt I knew I had a chance to make strategic impact with one of the world’s best thinkers. That combined with the chemistry and contagious energy I felt with the people and the agency is what drew me to TBWA.”
Before joining PwC Bryson was M&C Saatchi’s strategy director for one year.
“Nicky’s generous and nurturing nature is the perfect fit to help mentor and lead our strategy department and she will bring a wealth of knowledge and insight. Returning to the creative side from her consultancy role at PwC is a positive statement about where she sees the future of brands. I’m delighted to have her on board as my strategic partner,” Springate added.
Smashing hire. The wardrobe is worth it all in itself.
