TBWA’s Paul Arena joins BWM Dentsu as executive strategy director
TBWA Melbourne group planning director, Paul Arena, has left the agency to join BWM Dentsu as executive strategy director.
Arena joined TBWA in 2014 an was a digital planner for over three years. He was later elevated to planning director of TBWA Melbourne and was promoted to Group planning director in January. Arena spent the last five years working on the ANZ account.

Earlier today Mumbrella revealed that BWM Dentsu managing director Alex Carr and CMO Jess Tarpey had left the business.
Belinda Murray, managing director of BWM Dentsu Melbourne, said in a statement to Mumbrella: “Paul joins BWM Dentsu Melbourne at an exciting time of growth. We are pushing new boundaries with the aim to lead and redefine the industry as we know it. Paul as a new leader brings to the team and all our client partners a wealth of contemporary experience as well as a fresh perspective on our philosophy of Creativity Transforms Brands, Brands Transform Business.”
Arena said of his appointment: “I’m thrilled to join BWM Dentsu and to contribute to their ongoing success. Leading the Melbourne planning team is an exciting next step, made possible in large part by the experiences, opportunities and talented colleagues at TBWA.”
In July, BWM Dentsu was appointed to the creative account for Charles Sturt University, and work on its 30th anniversary brand transformation project.
