TCO makes two appointments

The Conscience Organisation has made two new senior appointments; Alex Weetch to digital strategist and Pia Chaudhuri, senior creative.

The announcement:

TCO has bolstered its digital and creative offering with the appointment of two senior figures, Alex Weetch and Pia Chaudhuri.

Weetch joins TCO to lead its digital strategy. The agency poached Weetch from ZenithOptimedia where he has spent the last 7 years working across its global and, most recently, Australian clients. This new role will see him take TCO’s digital offering to the next level across social, paid and search. He will work across the agency’s raft of clients and he has already been instrumental in several new business wins.

Award-winning senior creative, Chaudhuri has been appointed to strengthen the agency’s creative expertise. She is also tasked with developing TCO’s creative and design credentials and will be working in its ideas division across all clients with Managing Partner & Ideas Director Tom Phillips. Chaudhuri joins TCO from London agency pd3 where she worked as creative lead & where she streamlined the creative department. Most recently she won Marketing Week Engage and ISP awards for engagement campaigns for O2 (Tele Co.).

Clive Burcham (CEO at TCO), said, “Pia and Alex’s appointments come off the back of a string of new business wins including Boost Mobile, Optus and National Geographic. Paired with our continued work for clients like Nestle and Coca-Cola the agency needed some serious creative and digital fire power and these guys certainly fit that bill. For us Alex and Pia joining the agency is a sign of TCO’s intent to provide an end-to-end offering and to really challenge what else is out there.”

Alex Weetch (TCO’s digital strategist) said, “Moving to Australia was a big change and change is good. It made me want more and I decided to finally give into the creative side that had been calling me for some time. TCO ticked all the boxes and I am now learning new and exciting stuff from a bunch of very different and talented people.”

Pia Chaudhuri (senior creative at TCO) added, “My passion lies in engagement. These days it’s not enough to just be creative. Everything has to connect with consumers in a way it never has before. At TCO I will be bringing my big ideas and experience to create lots more work that does exactly that.”
