Ten beats Seven in Thursday ratings
Network Ten has beaten Seven in Thursday’s ratings race, led by an even stronger performance of its top shows Masterchef and Glee, compared to the same day last week.
Masterchef was the most-watched show for the night with an average audience of 1.643m, higher than the 1.531m it attracted the previous Thursday, while the second episode of Glee, the US musical comedy, saw 1.293m tune in, also up from last week’s 1.18m.
According to preliminary overnight Oztam data in the main metro markets, Nine’s main channel led the night with 24.5 per cent share, followed by Ten with 22.5 per cent and then Seven with 22.2 per cent.
Nine’s digital channel Go also did well, ahead of SBS1, with a 5 per cent share.
