Ten holds strong in key advertising demographics with Gogglebox and The Bachelorette

Gogglebox and The Bachelorette have delivered a good night in the key advertising demographics for Ten, with the two programs holding the top spot in all three – 16-39s, 18-49s and 25-54s.

Gogglebox was also the most-watched entertainment program with 794,000 metro viewers, followed by The Bachelorette with 694,000. With regional viewers added in, the shows reached 1.081m and 911,000 viewers respectively.

They helped drive Ten to a 17.2% audience share as a channel, sitting behind Seven (19.1%), but ahead of Nine (15.4%) and ABC (12.3%). As a network, Ten held 23.3%, behind Seven’s 29.0%, and ahead of Nine’s 23.0% and ABC’s 17.4%.

Ten was also the most-watched with metro audiences 25-54 (25.0%) and metro audiences 16-39 (29.8%).

Seven News was the most-watched program with 879,000 metro viewers. Nine News drew 761,000 and ABC News 627,000. Behind Gogglebox and The Bachelorette, Home and Away was the next most popular entertainment show with 513,000 metro viewers.

Love Island delivered 228,000 for Nine, RBT brought 473,000 and Hot Seat 279,000.
