Ten to launch online series Lost With The Boys

Network Ten will launch a series of short films about the highs and lows of being a teenage girl, Lost With the Boys, exclusively online.

The announcement:

Network Ten today announced the launch of the online series, Lost with the Boys, on its industry-leading digital platform, tenplay.

Lost with the Boys, a collection of short films depicting the highs and lows of being a teenage girl, will start exclusively on tenplay this Thursday March 6.

Produced by Amanda Higgs – co-creator and producer of Ten’s Logie Award-winning The Secret Life of Us, and producer of the acclaimed The Time of Our Lives – and writer and co-producer Kate Keegan, the series follows a group of real 15-year-old girls from Perth as they talk candidly about the highs and lows of being a teenager.

Network Ten Chief Digital Officer, Rebekah Horne, said: “We’re increasingly looking at wasy to expand the traditional television model and bring content to audiences across different platforms.

“Lost With The Boys is Network Ten’s first-ever online series and viewers will be able to view the full collection of stories anywhere, anytime, across different devices.”

Network Ten Chief Programming Officer, Beverley McGarvey, said: “Lost With The Boys looks at the highs, the lows, and the bits nobody knows of being a teenage girl today.

“It’s about both embracing and surviving those years in a fast-changing world. Anyone who is a teenager, was a teenager, or has a teenager will be able to relate to the series.”
