Ten revamps Ten Play ahead of addressable ad launch

Network Ten has revealed an updated site for its BVOD service Ten Play, ahead of the launch of its addressable advertising solution on 1 July.

Ten said the revamped site has an improved search functionality and easier access to Ten content, including Ten Daily, Ten All Access and Ten Speaks.

“We are so excited to be unveiling the new Ten Play website. It looks and feels so much more fun and it has a smoother, fresher user experience to match,” said the network’s general manager of digital, Liz Baldwin.

“We know that our under 50s audience is consuming content across more platforms than ever. It’s important that we continually invest in the platforms on which they consume our exclusive, premium content and make it easier for them to find what they need. With the new site, we have a brilliant opportunity to engage audiences for longer.”

Baldwin added that Ten will continue to roll out more features, with a focus on “member experience and personalisation”.

The updated site also sees the addition of new ad units, with Ten saying it’s “designed to better surface premium sponsored content and sponsored sections”.

Sophie Hicks Lloyd said the new platform had “loads” of benefits for Ten’s advertising partners.

“It has a more seamless ad experience and is also designed to fully support our data strategy giving advertisers more opportunities than ever to take advantage of the site’s growing audience,” she said.

“Ten Play’s website refresh is a critical milestone in launching our addressable advertising solution on 1 July. And for advertisers, we’re making it super easy to target ads across our digital ecosystem.”

Ten Play has 3m registered users, with the new design updating on the app in the coming months.
