The Bachelor wins Thursday night TV in key demographics

Ten’s The Bachelor has topped Thursday night television viewing as the most watched entertainment program with 764,000 metro viewers.

As viewers tuned in to watch the second episode of the previous “to be continued” episode, The Bachelor was the most watched program across key advertising demographics 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54, according to OzTAM’s preliminary metro ratings.

Animals Make You Laugh Out Loud, which also aired at 7.30pm, managed to attract 530,000 metro viewers for Seven.

Thursday Night NRL Live match pulled in 366,000 metro viewers for Nine as the Rabbitohs beat the Bulldogs.

Overall, Seven News won the night with 971,000 metro viewers ahead of Nine News’ 931,000.

Nine won the night with an overall audience share of 23.9% ahead of Seven’s 16.2% and Ten’s 12.9% share.

Meanwhile ABC grabbed a 11.3% share beating SBS’ 5.6%.
