The Block helps Nine take Wednesday as the ABC beats Ten
The Block aired to 941,000 metro viewers as Nine took a network share win on Wednesday, with Nine News also pipping Seven News as the #1 overall program.
The Block also topped the three key advertising demos, on a night when ABC beat Ten thanks to solid ratings for programs including Hard Quiz and Question Everything.

In entertainment, Seven’s Home And Away came in second spot with 618,000 metro viewers, while ABC’s Hard Quiz had 592,000 metro viewers.
Ten’s The Bachelor Australia aired to 447,000 metro viewers, placing behind formats including The Chase Australia, Hot Seat, RFDS and Paramedics.
Nine News won overall with 1.069 million metro viewers, ahead of Seven News with 1.066 million metro viewers.
As mentioned, Nine won the night with a 31.1% network share ahead of Seven’s 30.1%, as ABC took a 16% share to beat Ten’s 15.7%. Nine was also the #1 primary channel, while 7Mate topped the multi-channels.
