The Block tops entertainment 3rd night this week and wins key demos

Nine’s The Block was again the #1 entertainment program on Tuesday night, as the network also celebrated another overall network share win.

The Block brought in a metro audience of 840,000, while also winning all three key advertising demos.

Home And Away on Seven was next in entertainment, pulling in a metro audience of 604,000, followed by Seven’s SAS Australia which saw 592,000 metro viewers tune in.

Ten’s The Masked Singer was next which brought in 545,000 metro viewers, while 653,000 metro viewers tuned in to watch the big reveal at the end of the episode.

The #1 program on Tuesday was Seven News, which had an average of 1.094 million metro viewers, ahead of Seven News at 6.30 with 1.067 million, and Nine News with 967,000 metro viewers.

As previously mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 30.7% over Seven’s 27.3% share, while Ten had an 18.8% network share and ABC had 14.8%.

Nine also won primary channel share while the top-rating multi-channel for Tuesday was 7TWO with a share of 3.7%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 21 September, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear and BVOD television, with 1.794 million viewers including 45,000 on national BVOD.

The Block was #1 entertainment program with 1.431 million viewers, including a national BVOD audience of 191,000 views, an uplift of 22%.

The program with the biggest uplift however was an episode of Seven’s SAS Australia which had a 37% uplift on overnight figures and had a total of 1.174 million viewers overall.
