The Block wins Thursday with 1.3m
Nine renovation show The Block won the Thursday night ratings with an audience of 1.342m.
Running in the 7pm – 8pm time slot, the show comfortably beat MasterChef on Ten, which dipped below the million-mark with 999,000 viewers, and Home & Away and Border Security on Seven, with took 824,000 and 387,000, respectively.
The Michael Caton-fronted Hot Property, which followed The Block at 8pm, rated with 1.070m.
Only two Nine non-news shows rated with more than 1m, with Seven News, Nine News, Today Tonight and A Current Affair the only other million-plus shows.
At breakfast time, Seven’s Sunrise was a nose ahead of Nine’s Today, winning by just 3,000 viewers; 357,000 to 354,000.
