Perth agency Longtail buys back share from The Brand Agency

Longtail Communications, the Perth-based digital agency, has bought back the remaining 50 per cent share of the business from creative shop The Brand Agency.

Carlo Bertozzi, Longtail founder and co-owner, said it would continue to work with The Brand Agency on accounts such as Bunnings Warehouse, Curtin University and Landcorp.

The full service digital agency’s other clients include Bankwest, Cash Converters, Australia’s Coral Coast, Amnet, News Ltd (PerthNow), Australian Central and Realestateview.

Bertozzi said: “The Brand Agency has been a great partner and we look forward to continuing to work together both here and in Melbourne.

“Because we deal with most of our clients directly, becoming completely independent was always part of Longtail’s long-term strategy, the current boom in digital advertising simply brought our timeframe forward.”

The Brand Agency, which is 75 per cent owned by STW Group, has offices in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.

Longtail was formed in August 2007 as a joint venture between Bertozzi and The Brand Agency.
