The Chase Australia keeps top entertainment spot; Seven wins the night

The Chase Australia has topped entertainment on Tuesday night again, while primetime entertainment for Seven and Nine continue to trail behind.

581,000 metro viewers tuned in for The Chase Australia on Monday, while 487,000 watched MasterChef on Ten.

Home and Away brought in 450,000 metro viewers, while Hot Seat on Nine attracted 427,000 metro viewers.

Seven and Nine’s new formats that both aired at 7:30, Rush and Million Dollar Island, barely made it into the top 20 programs.

Seven Network won the night with a 27.5% overall network share, followed by Nine with 25.4%, Ten with 19.8% and ABC with 16.7%.

Nine (17.7%) pipped Seven (17.4%) as the top-rated channel, but the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with a 4.7% share.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 27 June, Seven News was the #1 program with a Total TV audience of 1.567 million, with a 3% uplift and 50,000 on national BVOD.

Seven’s The Rookie had the biggest uplift of 52%, with a total audience of 481,000 and a national BVOD audience of 68,000.
