The Chase Australia tops Tuesday entertainment, but Nine takes the night

Seven’s game show The Chase Australia topped entertainment on Tuesday night, pulling in 480,000 metro viewers. However, Nine network won the night.

Home and Away followed in entertainment with 446,000 metro viewers, while Nine’s The Hundred with Andy Lee was watched by 441,000.

A repeat of Travel Guides on Nine attracted 377,000 metro viewers. Ten’s The Dog House Australia, meanwhile, aired to 365,000 metro viewers.

The #1 program on Tuesday night was Seven News with 854,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 851,000, Nine News at 6:30 with 741,000 and Nine News with 715,000.

Seven News at 6:30 also won all three key advertising demos.

As mentioned, Nine network won the night with a 29.1% overall share, followed by Seven with 26.4%. ABC (17.6%) pipped Ten (17.3%) with a 0.3% difference.

The top-rated primary channel was Nine with 21.2%, while the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with 4.1%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 21 March, Married At First Sight on Nine last Tuesday was the #1 program nationally with 1.82 million Total TV viewers, including 535,000 on BVOD and the biggest uplift of 54%.
