The Chase wins quiet night in entertainment as Seven tops share by narrow margin

The top rating entertainment program for Tuesday evening was The Chase Australia on Seven, bringing in 513,000 metro viewers to the network.

The program helped to weight overall share in Seven’s favour, just pipping Nine by 0.1%, for a winning share of 28.6%.

Next in entertainment was Nine’s Lego Masters: Grand Masters, which brought in 486,000 metro viewers, ahead of Seven’s Home and Away, with 472,000 metro viewers.

Hot Seat on Nine followed, with 360,00 metro viewers, with Seven’s Consentino: Decennium on 337,000 and Who Do You Think You Are on SBS pulling in 334,000.

The #1 program was Seven News with 973,000 metro viewers, which also topped all three key advertising demos.

In overnight network shares, Seven topped the night with a 28.6% share as mentioned, followed by Nine with 28.5%, ABC with 18.2% and Ten with 13.8%.

Nine was the top-rated primary channel with a 20.1% share, and the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with 3.9%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 25 April, Seven News was the #1 program nationally last Sunday with 1.763 million Total TV viewers, including 37,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 2%.

However, the program with the biggest uplift of 87% was The Good Doctor on Seven with 288,000 Total TV audience and 45,000 on national BVOD.

Overnight VOZ figures that became available from Monday are delivered from 1pm daily.
