The Coffee Club launches COVID-delayed campaign
The Coffee Club have this week launched a new brand campaign, originally scheduled to go live in March, the week Australia went into COVID-19 lock-down.
Developed by VMLY&R (WPP AUNZ) the new campaign, Your Happy Place, is narrated by Australian actor and comedian Stephen Curry.
The campaign will launch on free to air TV this week with a 30 second execution. The launch spot is followed by four, 15 second tactical executions to be rolled out pre-Christmas. The video executions are further supported by a suite of photography assets across digital, social and OOH.
The Coffee Club’s chief brand officer, Megan Magill, said: “This is the final step in our brand evolution which started in 2019 with our positioning, customer experience review, menu offering, store design and brand identity including a new contemporised logo.”
VMLY&R Brisbane head of strategy, Andrew Kolb, said The Coffee Club had identified it was time for a seismic strategic shift to safeguard the brand’s appeal to new and existing customers, and the new campaign aimed to inspire customers to find their “happy place” at The Coffee Club.
