The Cru opens a Melbourne office to service new client Food and Wine Victoria
PR agency The Cru has brought on Food and Wine Victoria as a client.
The agency’s new Melbourne office will assist in servicing the account, which will see The Cru manage all PR communications for Food and Wine Victoria’s events, including the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.
Food and Wine Victoria CEO, Anthea Loucas Bosha, said the organisation selected The Cru due to its specialisation and experience in the hospitality and lifestyle industries.
“The Cru bring a national and international outlook to Food and Wine Victoria. We look forward to working with them to help us tell the great Victorian food story to Melburnians, to the rest of Australia and to the world,” Bosha said.
To lead the new Melbourne office, The Cru has hired Alice Dodge from Red Havas.
Dodge spent almost two and a half years at Red Havas as a senior account director. Previously she has worked at Map and Page, Black Communications, and Klick Communications.
Jeanine Bribosia, founder and managing director of The Cru, said the timing was right to open the Melbourne office.
“We have worked in Melbourne for many years, and have some incredible clients there. With so many great operators in that city, we have waited until we felt we really understood the market and had the right mix of clients and talent on the ground to open The Cru Melbourne. We couldn’t think of a more fitting client to announce this move with than Food and Wine Victoria and visionary CEO Anthea Loucas Bosha. With Alice at the helm, this is an exciting new chapter for The Cru.”
