I don’t suffer from Anatidaephobia but I’m still a little freaked out by that duck.
It seems like great placement to me! Only problem is how many people are actually going to look up Anatidaephobia??
Old content is old.
This has been doing the rounds for years.
If anyone reading this has not seen this before… What rock have you been hiding under??
I think this is quite clever. I’m going to assume that only a small minority of the population suffer from Anatidaephobia, and an even smaller percentage of that group will read this. So to the general public it is just witty ad placement.
They’ve blatantly stolen this from a Gary Larsen comic
Apparently more people look it up than you think: http://www.facebook.com/pages/.....3754627868

This quacks me up. I spotted this Saab placement (accidental I’m sure) on The Age website back in June 2008 and just had to take screen shots:

The duck looks like it’s been hiding behind something. Peking Duck perhaps?
Classic! Got me laughing on a Monday, thanks Tim.
I cry fowl! That’s not a duck…that’s a goose.
It’s watching me..
